Crows star Eddie Betts has shared an incredible photo showing the seconds after his twin daughter, Maddie, was born, as he watched on via FaceTime.
Back in April, Eddie’s partner, Anna, went into labour ahead of schedule, meaning the AFL player was still in Melbourne with his teammates at the time, unable to get to her for the birth.
So, in what looks like an emotional TV commercial trying to sell us a phone, Eddie posted a photo of himself watching on via FaceTim with a huge smile on his face:
“Meeting Maggie for the first time,” he captioned the picture.
“I was at the hotel and I said, ‘What do you want me to do, get on a flight?’”, Eddie recounted to 7News.
"She said ‘No, the doc said they’re going to be out in half an hour so you’re going to miss it anyway’.
She gave me permission to play, so frustrating to not be there for the birth of our daughters but I saw it all on FaceTime.”
An absolutely incredible photo!
And here's what the little ones look like now!
