Families of the four Dreamworld ride tragedy victims have flown to the Gold Coast to hear from more witnesses as the inquest into the deaths continues.

It resumed on Monday with three maintenance workers giving evidence, with one telling the coroner an emergency stop button on the main control panel of the Thunder River Rapids had never been checked by a maintenance supervisor.

A former-Dreamworld worker was expected to take the stand on Tuesday.

Stephen Buss was fired over an earlier incident, similar to the ride malfunction that claimed four lives in 2016.

It's come amid reports several park safety officers who responded to the ride tragedy are now suing their former employer, citing severe psychological injuries.

According to News Corp at least four have launched legal action.
