Negotiations for direct flights from Perth to Paris are currently underway!
Travellers are being advised to keep their fingers crossed after Perth Airport chairman Nev Power told The Weekend West that he and the airport’s chief executive, Kevin Brown, would be meeting with Qantas chief executive Alan Joyce soon.
“We have a number of issues we need to progress together and we are committed to working with Qantas to secure the best outcome for WA,” he explained.
“Our ultimate aim is to provide West Australians with the airport they both need and deserve — an airport that has the capacity, amenity and efficiency to deliver passengers a seamless, quality travel experience.”
It’s believed a Perth to Paris flight would take 45 minuets less flight time than the current direct flight to London.
