If you were planning on going out for a picnic this weekend then you might want to make other plans... Perth is set to get a month's worth of rain this weekend!
Bureau of Meteorology duty forecaster Angus Moore says that Perth could cop up to 10mm of rain a day on Saturday and Sunday, with southern regions of the city set to cop 15mm!
“It’s looking like the first serious front we’ve had so far getting into the cooler months of the year.
"It arrives late at night (on Friday) and goes through the night and into Sunday."
Angus also warned that there will be a strong breeze and temperatures won't be getting any higher than 25 degrees.
Mandurah, Walpole, Bunbury and the South West are expected to receive the most rain too, so this weekend, it might be a good idea to curl up on the couch with a cup of tea/coffee/hot chocolate and wait out this chilly weather.
