August is set to start with a bang, with a cold front bringing some very cool temperatures to WA - as well as hail and snow.
While this July hasn't been as cold as usual, this Wednesday will herald in a cold front which is set to hit central and southern WA.
There will be heavy rains and winds as well, with the Bureau of Meteorology also issuing a hail warning.
It's going to be a cold one on Thursday, with temperatures to hit just 7C in the morning in Perth.
Those chasing snow will have the best luck at Bluff Knoll on Thursday morning, with snowfall predicted overnight Wednesday.
