This September, The Rocks is celebrating local Australian ingredients, showcasing a variety of unique and native foodie experiences for all food connoisseurs to enjoy.
The iconic Sydney precinct invites Sydneysiders to sample native and traditional dishes with ingredients sourced from around Australia.
They have everything and anything you can think of…. including a brand new Edible Bug Shop.
Explore new and exciting flavours at the Edible Bug Shop, a live and interactive demonstration and taste-test workshop on entomophagy – the human use of insects as food.
The Rocks Markets guests can discover how farmed Australian insects can be mixed with native ingredients to deliver edible and delicious dishes like macadamia and mealworm rocky road, or finger lime and chilli cricket stir-fry!
You can even go to a cooking demonstration and learn all the tricks!
