If you’re not across the whole ’Cardi B and Nicki Minaj had a fight’, then you’ve obviously been living under a rock, or had your phone turned off.
The two artists have had a lot of beef for a while now, starting with Nicki taking a jab at Cardi’s husband, Offset, in Katy Perry’s song ‘Swish Swish’ in 2017.
Cardi B hit back at the jab and Nicki then reportedly took a few more swipes at her in her songs. But hey, it’s all in the name of rap, isn’t it? The guys have been doing it for decades.
But the tipping point for Nicki came after Cardi’s first interview for Motorsport, a song on which they both featured.
“The only thing with Cardi that really, really hurt my feelings was the first interview she did after Motorsport came out,” Minaj revealed to Beats 1 radio’s Zane Lowe.
“I remember when I first came in the game, if a female of that stature had done a feature with me on it, I would only be singing their praises and saying thank you.”
Cards clapped back with, “I already said she’s an amazing artist, paid my respect to her.
“What do people expect? Y’all want me to say something bad. I’m not falling for that.”
Now, things have stepped up to a whole new level, with Cardi B lashing out at Nicki at this week’s Harper’s Bazaar Icons Party, after Nicki supposedly mouthed off at her about her daughter.
Footage emerged showing Cardi breaking into a rage, throwing punches, throwing her high heels, and yelling, “Let them talk about my daughter again!”
According to reports from US Weekly, Cardi was “swearing and shouting. Nicki just stood there and was cool. She did not flinch. Cardi was throwing punches, trying to get at Nicki and then threw her shoe at Nicki.”
Then, “about 10 people” got involved in an “all-out brawl.”
”I saw pieces of Cardi’s red dress be ripped from her body and I saw chunks of hair or hair extensions be ripped and go flying into the air,” the source said. “There were a bunch of security guards screaming at the parties … trying to break up the fight.”

Cardi was then led away from the party, with a huge bump on her forehead, and Nicki stayed to enjoy the events.
According to reports from people who saw the altercation, Nicki and Cardi never got close enough to physically hit one another.
Cardi has since taken to Instagram to share a post about the incident:
Nicki is set to talk about the whole shebang on her show, Queen Radio, so stay tuned.
Fans of both stars have taken to Twitter to take their sides, some saying Cardi was hypocritical as she has made terrible comments about someone else’s child who passed away in the past, whereas others believe Nicki is hiding behind people and not going face to face with Cardi to resolve their beef.
Let’s let these girls work this out by themselves and not add to the chaos.
