Law & Order is one of those shows we all seem to know that has been around for yonks.
Now, the hit show will be getting a new spinoff series for you to sink your teeth into, and it will focus entirely on hate crimes.
The show will be set in New York City, like SVU, and will centre around NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force.
Deadline reported on the new series, providing us with an official synopsis:
“Law & Order: Hate Crimes is set in New York City, where crimes motivated by discrimination are vigorously investigated by an elite, specially trained team of investigators. Going behind the headlines and viral videos, these diverse, dedicated and passionate detectives will stop at nothing to bring these criminals to justice.”
Hate Crimes is set to debut as a direct spinoff of SVU, so fans will get introduced to it in an upcoming episode of Special Victims Unit!
As of yet, the cast has not been announced.
Keep your eyes and ears peeled for the debut date!
