It's R U OK? Day and Hamish & Paris couldn't let this important day pass without talking about it.
Why we are reminded to ask people if they are ok, there are times when you're not sure what to ask or what to say - but R U OK? Day is changing that and we're becoming more and more open with talking about mental health.
"There have been times when I should've asked someone if they were ok, but I didn't", Paris said.
This morning on the show, Paris shared her experience with someone she knew in school who took their own life.
"Collectively as a group, we didn't speak up. We didn't want him to take it the wrong way.
"I had my opportunity to be there for someone and I let it slip by because I didn't want to look what is this big, scary thing called mental health in the eye."
