Ekka Peoples Day
Nick Cummins was in studio today and shared some Bachelor goss! We speak to Scotty to Hottie for Tradie Chat Tuesday after he gave a way a big secret. A survey has revealed how often couples are or are not having sex… so we asked our listeners what is it for them? Hit105’s Fiver for a Farmer is going strong, so we continued with business sharing their pledges and that little bit extra they’re going to do to help. We all know that Matty received karma for faking his leg injury… well now it runs in the family with Ethan getting injured.
Katy Perry joined us after Cody spoke to her at Carindale shopping centre and she threw her support behind the Fiver of a Farmer and Stav, Abby and Matt spoke to the 5SOS guys before their gig on Saturday night. We love Monday’s because we play “What can you say in the bedroom” and today it was at the Ekkas. Matty shared a two for one deal he is thinking about getting and it involves a medical procedure. The Coles mini-shoppers are taking off so we did a live swap on air and we spoke about 60 Minutes story in regards to bone marrow transplants. And as we get ready for our ‘Fiver for a Farmer’ we spoke to Dr David Jones from the Bureau of Meteorology about when the rain will come… if it does.
Today Stav tried to fool the guys… and failed! We spoke about the Bronco’s Wayne Bennett debacle, asked people what they gave up for their partner and heard from Pip a farmer living in drought effected Quilpie QLD. We spoke to Barnaby Joyce about this marriage and mental health issues and its was a big day because today we announced the line up for RNB Friday’s LIVE! Oh and Matty has created #FOEF!
Yesterday we spoke about what you learnt about child birth after being in labour so today we spoke to Dr Nerida Flannery an obstetrician, who delved into the topic of caesareans. Sheena who is living in drought effected Cobra NSW called us to talk about the mental health of the farmers and more people in Brisbane called up to pledge their support for ‘Hit105’s Fiver for a Farmer’. Abby quit the gym and bought a cross trainer, Matty thinks it will be used as a clothes so we asked how much did you spend on a ‘clothes’. The team went to Abby’s son school and held a handball tournament, so we reveal the results of that and Sami Lukas joined us for a chat!
Today Stav, Abby and Matt spoke to Farmer Billy and Councillor Rayner who are both in drought effected areas. The people of Brisbane spend over 16% of their wage on transport, so we found out how much our listeners are speaking. Producers Candy and Kaz don’t have children, so Brisbane shared with them the unexpected things you find out about child birth. Matty gave Finny some Coca-Cola and Abby isn’t happy about it so we heard from listeners who had the same motto “It Don’t Matter, It’s Not My Kid”. And we love Wednesday because it’s time for ‘Stav’s PC School’.
